In Altamira Supremo S.A.S and its Santa Teresita Mill, it is our duty to buy, thresh and export the much longed for Colombian coffee. Years of work has led us to become the company a business and social example in the city of Pereira and in all coffee regions of Colombia. We generate 20 direct and 25 indirect jobs, being part of the regional production chain of one of the best coffees in the world where collectors, drivers, shopkeepers, entrepreneurs and many other people unite for the development of the country, producing the best coffee for more than 18 countries.
In Altamira Supremo S.A.S and its Mill Santa Teresita, we have 4.129 square meters of construction, advanced technology and wide areas designed to receive, thresh, store and transport coffee for exportation. Our plant has the capacity to produce 1500 sacks daily, storage for 300000 kilos of Pergamino coffee and 30000 sacks of finished product. All of these aspects allow our company to efficiently prepare the product for sale in local markets and for exportation, fulfilling requirements and quality standards that the industry and consumer demand, who drinks one of the best coffees of the country.
Inheriting the great knowledge of the coffee sector and the wide experience of his father and grandfather, Mauricio Gomez Hoyos decided to build the Mill Santa Teresita on June 1, 2010. It is, named as a tribute to the virtues of the barefoot French Carmelite, declared saint in 1924, reflecting the civic and business values we have built over the years.
In the company we want to keep strengthening the economic development of the Coffee Axis, always respecting the moral, political and religious principles that we represent. And so we continue to deliver Colombian coffee to different corners of the world, looking to completely satisfy our clients.
The Mill Santa Teresita is located in the village of Cerritos, in the city of Pereira, capital of the department of Risaralda. This region is part of the western center of Colombia, a place of the valley of the Otun River in the central mountain range at the Colombian Andes, where the coffee is one of the economic pillars. To access our facilities you must take the double carriageway which connects Pereira with the Cauca’s Valley deparment, it is the main transportation corridor in the region where the entire load is mobilized between Pereira and Buenaventura, in the Colombian Pacific, the main port of the country.
The village of Cerritos, where we are located, is characterized for its economic influence in the city of Pereira, thanks to the variety of commercial facilities for companies, malls, three completely operative and endowed logistic parks, two thematic and recreational parks with regional scope, a large format hotel, many boutique hotels, a convention center, a fuel distribution center, the World Trade Center for the Coffee Axis region and several other industries.
